I am an English educator, writer, and editor based in Berlin, recognized by the Berlin Senate for Quereinstieg in den Erzieherberuf as a Native Speaker in bilingual Kitas. Since 2022, I have been working as a Freelance English Educator and Language Camp Lead, delivering immersive English programmes for children aged 9 months to 12 years in Berlin kindergartens and Grundschule Horte.
I am also a PhD candidate in English Studies (Anglistik) at the University of Trier, where my research explores diaspora, language, and social equity. My research is based in Berlin and runs alongside my professional teaching, allowing me to bring current academic perspectives on culture and language directly into the classroom.
Before moving to Germany, I taught and designed curricula in Pakistan and later lectured on world literatures at Texas A&M University Qatar, giving me a broad perspective on how learners from different backgrounds experience English. I have worked with US American, Pakistani, and European students and colleagues, and I adapt my teaching to each person’s learning style, needs, and goals.
